Labor Education
Labor is a topic that has been sadly neglected in our education. Labor education is virtually nonexistent in some parts of the country and is understaffed and underfunded everywhere. Still, some good things are being done.
We're fortunate to have the Institute for Labor Studies in the Kansas City Area. It's a joint project of UMKC and Longview Community College.
