Did you answer “sober up?” Are you ready to kick the Lesser Evil habit? There are others like you who are taking charge of their political lives one day at a time.

Some find our Twelve Step Program helpful:

Twelve Steps For Recovering Lesser Evilists

- We admitted we were powerless in the bosses' parties and our lives had become unmanageable.

- Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves—the working class movement—could restore us to sanity.

- Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the worker's movement as we understood it.

- Made a searching and fearless political inventory of ourselves.

- Admitted to the movement, as well as ourselves, the error of supporting bosses' candidates.

- Were entirely ready to have the movement remove all these defects of judgment.

- Politely asked the movement to remove our political shortcomings.

- Made a list of all struggles we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.

- Made direct amends to such struggles wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

- Continued to take personal political inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

- Sought through study and activity to improve our conscious contact with the working class movement as we know and understand it.

- Having had a political awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to Lesser Evilists, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
